I've always found inspiration in life and other arts to lead my artistic interests in several fields from drawing and painting to sculpting and ceramic. Particularly, Cubism has a great effect on my works. While painting, I follow certain feelings or emotions rather than musing over sub-texts or messages. The diffeent facial expressions that I use in my paintings are the means to let the audience capture the feelings and emotions that drove me to make art. Besides, I like to reinterpret gestures so as to reinforce the painting. Of course, color is another way of that. As I believe different colors awaken different feelings and emotions - which I’m full of - I tend to choose colors that speak out loud. It is deeply important for me that every painting of mine has a particular character based on a particular feeling or emotion. It can be the feeling or emotion that made me create that piece of art, or something different. While romance and vulnerability dominate my works, the particular characteristic feeling can transform itself into doubt, for instance. It is hard to transform a certain kind of art (my paintings) into another way of expression (this petit text). My last words can be on that matter is that I make art by experiencing instead of planning ahead, so the only thing that I do is to grab my feelings and emotions and get in front of my canvas - and wait for a while to let them take shape...
