About Me

Mira was born in 1995 in Istanbul and finished studies at the “Yildiz Teknik University”. During studies she also took sculpture, graphics and photography lessons. Her first collective exhibitions were in Bulgaria and Greece, later continuing with three collective exhibitions “The portraits”, “Step Istanbul” and “Ruhun Senfonisi”. Mira uses many different techniques in her paintings. Generally working on abstract portraits she didn’t deform the style between abstract and concrete styles. She emphasizes the eyes and the feelings on her paintings. Mira tells us that every portrait has a meaning and every person is able to find their way of the story in them. In the mean time in her abstract paintings using deep trowel blows and collors, she tries to orkestrate a symphony inside her paintings. Telling us that every collor has their own meaning the artist uses colors in different ways and figures to express her own language of expression.
