About Me

Hendekcigil was born in Istanbul in 1992 and was introduced to art during her childhood. This growing interest led her to study art. Hendekcigil stepped into art education professionally with Fine Arts High School and continued her education with Anadolu University Fine Arts Faculty Glass Art Department. The artist, who met with the material that guided her art, took part in many international festivals and symposiums during her education. (International Camgeran Symposium - 1st Odunpazari Hot Glass Festival). During her university years, she worked with many world famous glass artists (Vladimir Klein, Pino Cherchi, Rob Stern, Jiri Pacinek, Janusz Pozniak, Grant Garmezy, Masayo Odahashi, and Simone Fezer). took place. Dancing House Prague and Glass Factory are exhibited in many galleries. In the same period, Hendekcigil continued her studies at the Glass Furnace Foundation. During this time, her artworks in art competitions were awarded and exhibited. Some of Hendekcigil's works are in Stanislaw Libensky and Glass Factory Collection. In 2016, Hendekcigil started her graduate studies at Anadolu University, Institute of Fine Arts, Department of Glass. The artist continues her artistic works in her own studio in Antalya.
