About Me

Biography of Beyza Akinci Kaplan In 27 November 2019, she opened her first solo exhibition in Turkey in Çırağan Palace. In May of 2018, the artist opened his second solo exhibition in London as a social responsibility project under the name of “Grenfell”. Many government officials, mayors and social responsibility organizations participated in the exhibition, which attracted great interest both in the Turkish and British press. In 2018 Yeditepe biennial, installation works of artist in different Pavilions were exhibited. In 2017, she opened her personal exhibition in London with her modern works of art. She gained a lot of admiration for her uniqueness. In 2016, her work “Awareness” awarded with the best category prize in the international EAST WEST ART AWARD COMPETITION 2016 held in London. In 2016, she exhibited a series of her works in PAPER WORKS EXPOSITION 2016 held in Orlando and Miami. In 2015, the work of the artist "View of Life" was rewarded with a full achievement award by the Turkish Ministry of Culture in the 18th State in China contest in the field of decorative arts. In 2015, she started to the training in "Pastel Arts" with Javad Soleimanpour. In 2015, she was nominated by the Turkish Ministry of Culture as "Cultural Heritage Bearer" in the area of classical art. Erguvan Exhibition in 2014. In 2015, she attended to a state specialization school in miniature training, starting from application (2nd) class, due to her success in the entry exam. Since 2014, she has involved in teaching classical Islamic arts aiming to raise awareness about historical and cultural art. In 2013, she began training in illumination toughed by Mamure Oz. In 2013, the work of the artist "Compassion" was rewarded with a full achievement award by the Turkish Ministry of Culture in the 17th State in China contest in the field of decorative arts. She has participated in various exhibitions including the recent ones the Rustem Pasha in 2013. In 2012, she started miniature training given by Reza Hemmatirat. Between 2009 and 2012, she took a course on pattern design in classical arts in a specialized class taught by Semih İrteş who is a master craftsman / illumination (Tezhip) and decoration (kalemişi). Beyzanur Kaplan attended classical arts classes between 2008 and 2010 at the Topkapı Palace museum of the Turkish Ministry of Culture. She participated in decorative arts workshops under supervision of Semih İrteş and Mamure Öz. Her works on modern art have been rapidly growing abroad. She is working on ornamentation with the masters of calligraphist Beyza is working with the leading calligraphers in Turkey. Some of her works are already acquired by different art collectors.
